New quarantine, testing rules for intl travelers start Dec 3

The Philippine government has announced new quarantine and testing protocols for international travelers not coming from countries on the red list, effective December 3, 2021.

Fully vaccinated travelers must present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure and will undergo facility-based quarantine.

These fully vaccinated travelers will have an RT-PCR test on the fifth day of their arrival and must complete a home quarantine until the 14th day.

Travelers who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or whose vaccination status cannot be validated will also need a negative RT-PCR test prior to departure.

These unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers will undergo facility-based quarantine and an RT-PCR test on the seventh day of their arrival.
