NCRPO logs P116-M drugs from ops
Metro Manila police confiscated P116 million worth of illegal drugs and apprehended 1,481 suspects in 977 anti-drug operations conducted between October 9 and November 13.
The seized substances included shabu, marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy tablets.
In addition to anti-drug operations, the NCRPO also arrested 1,750 most wanted persons and other wanted individuals.
The police also conducted operations against illegal gambling, leading to 2,627 arrests and the confiscation of over P700,000.
Furthermore, 239 individuals were arrested and 246 firearms were seized in operations targeting loose firearms in preparation for the 2025 elections.
The NCRPO has also deployed 400 officers and is coordinating with local government units for disaster preparedness and response efforts related to Severe Tropical Storm Pepito.
