NCRPO reports 17% decrease in Metro Manila focus crimes

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported a 17.04% decrease in eight focus crimes in Metro Manila from November 23, 2024, to March 2, 2025.

The eight focus crimes monitored by the Philippine National Police (PNP) are theft, robbery, rape, murder, homicide, physical injury, car theft, and motorcycle theft.

The NCRPO saw Crime Clearance Efficiency reach 98.82% and Crime Solution Efficiency increase by 3.44% to 72.24%.

During the same period, the NCRPO arrested 3,721 individuals through manhunt and warrant operations.

Additionally, 4,028 individuals were arrested in anti-illegal drug operations, seizing drugs valued at P267,639,096.80.

The NCRPO also apprehended 796 individuals for firearm-related violations, confiscating 815 illegal firearms.
