NCR logs 176,099 quarantine violators since Alert Level 3

A total of 176,099 quarantine violators have been reported in the National Capital Region (NCR) since the implementation of Alert Level 3.

On Tuesday, November 2, the PNP reported 9,822 new violators.

The daily average of violators from October 16 to November 2 is 9,783.

Approximately 60% of violators were warned, 33% were fined, and 7% faced other sanctions.

The majority of violations, totaling 132,931, were related to the breach of minimum public health standards, while 42,268 were for curfew infractions.

Additionally, 900 individuals not classified as authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) were apprehended for being outdoors.

The NCR is currently under Alert Level 3 until November 14, with specific capacity limits for establishments catering to fully vaccinated individuals and employees.

Metro Manila's curfew hours have been shortened to 12 midnight to 4 a.m. since October 13.
