NCR COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 21.2% but some Luzon provinces surge

Oriental Mindoro saw a significant increase in its positivity rate, leaping from 33.3% to 55.6% between May 26 and May 27, 2023.

Major increases were also observed in Bataan (21.4% to 38.4%) and Tarlac (15.4% to 21.2%), while Cagayan saw a rise from 21.6% to 27.6%.

Notable declines in positivity rates were seen in Isabela (67.4% to 46.4%), Laguna (35.7% to 29.1%), and Batangas (36.1% to 30.91%).

Positivity rates decreased in Batangas, Bulacan, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Rizal, and Zambales, though they remained high in most of Luzon.
