NCR, 38 areas under Alert Level 1 from March 1-15

The National Capital Region (NCR) and 38 other areas in the Philippines will be placed under Alert Level 1 from March 1 to 15.

This downgrade in alert status allows for the unrestricted movement of people of all ages, subject to minimum health protocols.

Establishments, both private and government-owned, can operate at full capacity.

Areas in Luzon under Alert Level 1 include several provinces and cities in CAR, Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV-A, Region IV-B, and Region V.

In the Visayas, Aklan, Bacolod City, Capiz, Guimaras, Siquijor, and Biliran are also downgraded to Alert Level 1.

Mindanao will see Zamboanga City, Cagayan de Oro City, Camiguin, and Davao City under the most relaxed alert level.

Despite the eased restrictions, individuals are still advised to observe health protocols, especially in crowded or enclosed spaces and during close-contact situations.
