BI transfers Shiela Guo to NBI custody over security concerns

Shiela Guo has been transferred to the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) due to security concerns, according to the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

The BI spokesperson, Dana Sandoval, stated that the transfer to NBI custody was deemed better due to ongoing joint operations between the BI and NBI.

Despite being in NBI custody, Shiela Guo's legal custody remains with the BI as she is facing a deportation case for misrepresentation and undesirability.

Shiela Guo was fetched by NBI operatives from the Senate and was processed at the NBI headquarters before being transferred to the NBI detention facility in the Bilibid compound in Muntinlupa.

The NBI Organized and Transnational Crimes Division clarified that while the Senate placed her under the legal custody of the BI, her physical custody is under the NBI.

Shiela Guo admitted that Alice Guo is not actually her sister.
