NBI probes media members for alleged sedition incitement

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is investigating some members of the mainstream media for allegedly inciting the public to sedition.

NBI Director Jaime Santiago stated that these media practitioners have exceeded their parameters and are creating disturbances.

Santiago clarified that the investigation pertains to legitimate media members who are allegedly urging people to commit acts of sedition.

He noted that while commentary and expressing opinions are acceptable, some actions have gone overboard and abused freedom of speech and expression.
