Two Marikina cops face raps for alleged rape of colleague

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) has filed administrative charges against two Marikina City police officers for allegedly raping a policewoman.

The two officers will face charges of grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a police officer.

The incident reportedly occurred on August 17 when the suspects, a patrolman and a staff sergeant, allegedly forced a female patrolman to drink liquor before raping her in a patrol car.

In addition to administrative charges, the officers have also been stripped of their firearms, relieved from their posts, and criminally charged with acts of lasciviousness and violation of the Anti-Rape Law.
