Miss Universe PH Ahtisa Manalo urges safety as Super Typhoon Uwan nears

Philippine bet Ahtisa Manalo, amidst Miss Universe 2025 pre-pageant events, has sent prayers and reminders to Filipinos as the country prepares for the potential arrival of Super Typhoon Uwan.

Manalo advised Filipinos to prepare for the approaching typhoon by evacuating to safer areas, maintaining distance from trees that could fall due to strong winds, and ensuring they are not in flood-prone locations.

She further reminded the public to store enough food, water, and supplies, and to keep gadgets and power banks fully charged.

Manalo also emphasized the importance of not forgetting pets, as they are also considered family members.

As of 11 a.m., weather bureau PAGASA declared eight areas in Luzon and Visayas under Tropical Weather Cyclone Signal (TWCS) No. 2, with the highest Wind Signal expected to be No. 5.

Manalo concluded her message by praying for everyone's safety.
