Miss Universe judge resigns, alleges pageant rigged for Miss Mexico

Resigned Miss Universe judge Omar Harfouch alleged that the pageant results were rigged in favor of Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch, due to alleged business dealings between Miss Universe owner Raul Rocha and Bosch's father.

Harfouch claimed Bosch's victory was predetermined, stating that Rocha and his son pressured him to vote for Bosch for business benefits and that the Top 30 contestants had already been chosen prior to the coronation day.

Harfouch escalated his allegations by publishing a photo that he claims shows Miss Universe owner Raul Rocha embracing Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch, suggesting an "intimate" connection.

The audience expressed outrage with boos following the announcement of the winner, and two other jurors also left the selection panel.

Omar Harfouch is now urging Fatima Bosch to resign from her Miss Universe title and has demanded the permanent removal of Raul Rocha from all beauty pageant-related activities.

He also called for an independent committee, supervised by a certified auditing firm, to investigate the recent pageant judging and to institutionalize this process for all future competitions.
