Megan Young, Mikael Daez make face shields for frontliners

Actors Megan Young and Mikael Daez initiated a project to create homemade face shields for frontliners fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Young documented the process on her Instagram Stories, showing the face shields being made and assuring followers they would be sanitized before distribution.

Daez also shared images of the completed face shields, expressing hope that they would provide some assistance.

The couple, who married in January, are currently living with Daez's three brothers and are supporting each other through the enhanced community quarantine.

Young described their coping mechanisms during the lockdown, emphasizing the importance of their mutual support.

Other celebrities, including Jake Cuenca, Kylie Verzosa, and Neri Naig, have also contributed to assisting frontliners with donations of food and PPEs.
