Medical City at full COVID-19 capacity, urges patients to go elsewhere

The Medical City in Pasig City announced it has reached full capacity for COVID-19 patients as of July 14, 2020.

The hospital management appealed for the public to take critically ill COVID-19 cases elsewhere.

They stated they cannot go beyond capacity without posing serious risks and do not wish to compromise service to general patients.

Meanwhile, 96 of the 125 COVID-19 beds at the Lung Center of the Philippines (LCP) have been occupied.

The isolation room and intensive care unit of the LCP are also at full capacity.

LCP spokesman Dr. Norberto Francisco mentioned they can still accept moderate cases as their ward capacity is at 58 percent.
