Guo's alleged accountant says mayor was involved in POGO incorporation

Nancy Gamo, alleged accountant of suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, testified that Guo was actively involved in the incorporation of two raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), Hongsheng Gaming Technology and Zun Yuan Technology.

Gamo stated that Guo provided her with specific details and incorporators' names for these POGO companies.

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian stated that Guo's active participation contradicts her previous claims of no connection to POGOs.

Guo had previously denied any involvement with or protection of POGOs, stating she was only a former incorporator of Baofu but had sold her shares before entering politics.

Gamo further indicated Guo's involvement by mentioning that a lease contract for the first POGO company was under the name Baofu, with Alice Guo as the representative.

When questioned about Guo's denial of knowing her, Gamo explicitly stated, 'She's lying.'

Gamo, who was arrested and detained in the Senate prior to her testimony, was allowed to go home after the hearing, while Guo remains a no-show.
