Biazon seeks reelection as Muntinlupa mayor
Reelectionist Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon filed his certificate of candidacy for a second term as local chief executive.
His running mate for vice mayor is Barangay Poblacion captain Allen Ampaya.
Muntinlupa City Lone District Rep. Jaime Fresnedi is also seeking reelection in the House of Representatives under the One Muntinlupa party.
The One Muntinlupa slate also consists of aspirants for councilors of the city's 1st and 2nd districts.
Biazon and other candidates from the One Muntinlupa (1Munti) political party filed their COCs at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Muntinlupa office.
A group of supporters accompanied them during their filing of candidacies.
The slate's aim is anchored on a three-priority agenda: continuity, economic recovery, and boosting of health services as well as innovation programs.
Prior to his candidacy for mayoralty in 2022, Biazon was a congressman and served as Bureau of Customs commissioner from 2011 to 2013.
