Mark Villar overwhelmed by massive turnout in Las Piñas sortie

UniTeam senatorial bet Mark Villar described the massive turnout in Las Piñas City during the campaign sortie of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte as overwhelming, with many residents lining the streets.

The Marcos camp cited a Philippine National Police (PNP) report stating that at least 500,000 people attended the UniTeam activities along a 12-kilometer stretch from Muntinlupa to Las Piñas.

A logistical computation by a staff member of Mark Villar suggested the turnout could exceed 500,000, considering the dense crowd along the route and at the rally venue.

Villar stated that it seemed like no one was left at home during the caravan, which significantly exceeded its expected duration due to the large crowd.

He also expressed that the election results seemed like a foregone conclusion based on the impressive display of support.

The UniTeam candidates, Marcos and Duterte, are currently leading in pre-election surveys for the presidential and vice-presidential positions, respectively.

The grand rally in Las Piñas City was hosted by Mayor Imelda Aguilar, Vice Mayor April Aguilar, and the Villar family, including Mark Villar, Rep. Camille Villar, Sen. Cynthia Villar, and former Senate President Manny Villar.

Marcos and Duterte conveyed their sincere gratitude to the local hosts for the warm reception they received.
