Marcos unfazed by approval rating drop amid probe into flood control projects

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is unfazed by a recent drop in his approval ratings, especially if it stems from his pursuit of investigations into anomalous flood control projects, according to Palace press officer Claire Castro.

A Pulse Asia survey indicated that a majority of Filipinos disapproved of Marcos' performance in December, with his disapproval rating rising to 48 percent from 44 percent in September.

Castro stated that the President would not be bothered by a decline in ratings if it is a consequence of his commitment to pursue justice for projects that harm the economy.

She emphasized that Marcos is aware that these investigations might affect his administration and politicians, but he proceeded for the greater good of the country and its citizens.
