Marcos Jr. intensifies campaign in Central Luzon

Presidential frontrunner Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is focusing his campaign efforts on Central Luzon, a region with over 7 million voters, with just 10 days left before the elections.

Despite a significant lead in the polls for Central Luzon, Marcos's numbers in the region have remained stagnant, unlike his closest rival, Vice President Leni Robredo, who saw a slight increase in the same Pulse Asia survey.

Marcos's campaign visited Nueva Ecija and Pampanga on Friday, April 29, both of which recently hosted massive rallies for Robredo and Francis Pangilinan.

Nueva Ecija and Pampanga are considered vote-rich provinces, with Marcos having previously won both in the 2016 vice presidential elections.

Former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo declared that politicians in Pampanga were supporting Marcos, including Governor Delta Pineda, Vice Governor Baby Pineda, four congressmen, and twenty mayors.
