Manny Pacquiao names 10 senatorial bets for Eleksyon 2022

Presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao has announced 10 senatorial candidates for his Eleksyon 2022 ticket.

The announced senatorial bets include incumbent Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, Joel Villanueva, and Richard Gordon, as well as Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero and Antique Representative Loren Legarda.

Also included in the list are former Vice President Jejomar Binay, broadcaster Raffy Tulfo, former Samar Governor Lutgardo Barbo, Labor leader Elmer Labog, and former Bayan Muna Representative Neri Colmenares.

Pacquiao stated that most of these candidates will be guest candidates, indicating an open approach to forming his ticket.

Lito Atienza, former Manila mayor and current Buhay party-list Representative, has been chosen by Pacquiao as his vice-presidential running mate.

Neri Colmenares expressed gratitude for the endorsement, seeing it as recognition for the need of candidates representing workers, farmers, and marginalized sectors in the Senate.
