Manila bans liquor, vendors near Bar exam sites

Manila has implemented a temporary ban on liquor sales, ambulant vendors, and noise-making activities around the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and San Beda University, the designated testing sites for the 2023 Bar Examinations.

The liquor ban will be in effect during specific hours on September 16-17, September 19-20, and September 23-24.

Ambulant vendors are prohibited from the vicinity of the universities from September 16-18, September 19-21, and September 23-25.

Sources of loud noise, such as video machines and speakers, are also banned within a 500-meter radius of the testing sites.

Furthermore, mass gatherings, parades, parties, and other assemblies are not permitted in the same areas and during the specified dates.
