Mandaluyong to deliver food packs to PUIs and PUMs

Mandaluyong City's local government will deliver food aid directly to the homes of Persons Under Investigation (PUI) and Persons Under Monitoring (PUM) undergoing home quarantine.

This initiative ensures those in quarantine do not need to leave their homes to buy food during the enhanced community quarantine.

Mayor Menchie Abalos assured that food packs are being delivered throughout their 14-day quarantine period.

Fresh vegetables from Nueva Ecija arrived on Friday night and were added to grocery packs for delivery on Saturday.

The LGU is also expecting vegetable deliveries from other sister cities.

As of Saturday morning, Mandaluyong City recorded 11 COVID-19 cases across eight barangays, with four cases in Barangay Highway Hills.
