Give new BARMM chief a chance – Palace

The MILF argues that President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. appointed only 35 out of 41 names they endorsed for the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), which they believe undermines the Bangsamoro Organic Law and the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB).
Malacañang, through Presidential Communications Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro, urged the MILF to give Macacua a chance to perform his duties.
Castro stated that the effectiveness of the new leadership can be revisited if issues arise, assuring that the appointment will not derail ongoing peace efforts in the BARMM.
