This decisive win, which propelled Magnolia to a 66-28 halftime lead, marked Rain or Shine's most significant loss in their franchise history.

Magnolia head coach Chito Victolero highlighted Bird's positive impact and "aura" as key factors, while also emphasizing the team's defense and control of the boards.

Calvin Abueva also contributed significantly with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Rain or Shine struggled with the untimely injury of import Aaron Fuller, who hurt his left eye and was limited in the game.
