Luzon, Visayas face scattered rains from easterlies; LPA may become tropical storm

Luzon and Visayas can expect cloudy skies and scattered rains due to the prevailing easterlies, according to PAGASA.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro will experience cloudy conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Other parts of Luzon and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought by localized convection.

A low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has a medium chance of developing into a tropical storm within 24 hours, with increasing possibility of becoming a full-fledged storm in the coming days.
