LTO summons owner of motorcycle parked in road

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned the owner of a motorcycle found parked in the middle of a road in Antipolo City after a video of the incident went viral.

LTO chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza expressed disbelief but assured that the owner's side would be heard to ensure due process.

A Show Cause Order (SCO) has been issued to the owner of the Yamaha motorcycle, requiring them to appear before the LTO Central Office in Quezon City on March 24.

The owner must explain in writing why they should not face administrative charges for Obstruction of Traffic and justify why their driver's license should not be suspended or revoked for being an Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.
