Lacson alleges plot to smear his campaign

Senator Panfilo Lacson alleges that supporters of a presidential candidate, who felt targeted by his anti-corruption remarks, are plotting a "demolition job" against him.

Lacson stated he received information about a political group allegedly funding a smear campaign at the grassroots level.

He declared he will not be intimidated by these reports and threats of black propaganda, referred to as "Oplan Wasak."

Lacson reiterated his commitment to fighting corruption in government, which he believes deprives citizens of their future.

While validating the reports, Lacson decided to make the information public to prevent his campaign from being negatively impacted by the alleged black propaganda.
