Juan Gomez de Liano's career-high 32 points powers Converge past Ginebra

Juan Gomez de Liano scored a career-high 32 points, shooting 13 of 16 from the field, leading Converge to a 106-96 victory over Barangay Ginebra.

His performance, which included six rebounds and six assists, helped Converge secure a 5-2 win-loss record and tie for second place.

Schonny Winston contributed 21 points off the bench, while Justin Arana had 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Justine Baltazar added 12 points.

Converge's win marked their first against Ginebra, with key runs in the fourth quarter securing the victory.

Despite Stephen Holt and RJ Abarrientos scoring 24 points combined, Ginebra fell to 2-4 after the loss.

Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone praised Gomez de Liano's performance, stating he looked like the best player in the league.
