Armed with SEAG lessons and UAAP MVP award, Janrey Pasaol eyes better Season 89 campaign
Far Eastern University (FEU) guard Janrey Pasaol has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament.
Pasaol averaged 15.4 points, 7.5 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game.
He is the first FEU player to win the award since Terrence Romeo in 2013.
Despite his individual accolades, Pasaol aims to lead FEU to an outright Final Four berth in Season 89, learning from lessons gained during his stint with the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 team.
The Tamaraws narrowly missed the Final Four this season when a loss to De La Salle University ended their hopes.
Pasaol was also selected for the Mythical Team alongside Nic Cabañero, Collins Akowe, Mike Phillips, and Jake Figueroa.
