ITCZ to bring scattered to heavy rains over Mindanao, Palawan, western Visayas

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered to heavy rain showers and thunderstorms to Mindanao, Palawan, and parts of the Visayas.

The easterlies will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The entire archipelago will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.

Pagasa stated that no low-pressure area or tropical cyclone is being monitored inside or outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

Residents in Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Soccsksargen, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Palawan, and western Visayas are warned of heavy rains due to the ITCZ.

Luzon, except Palawan, will experience hot weather at noon with possible rains, thunder, and lightning in the afternoon and evening due to the easterlies.
