ITCZ, easterlies to bring scattered rains across PH

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains across various parts of the Philippines.

Mindanao, specifically Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan, will experience cloudy conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

These weather systems carry the risk of flash floods or landslides, particularly in areas experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall.

In Luzon, Aurora and Quezon will face cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms from the easterlies, also posing a threat of flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with potential for flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorm activity.

Coastal waters across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are predicted to be slight to moderate, with light to moderate winds prevailing in different directions depending on the region.
