Isko wishes Leni well on her birthday despite criticisms

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno wished fellow presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo "all the best" on her 57th birthday, despite recent criticisms.

Moreno previously urged Robredo to withdraw from the presidential race, suggesting her candidacy was solely to block the Marcos family's return to power.

He also accused Robredo of being "matapobre" (a snob) and "a bully" after she stated she would not engage in bickering with him.

Moreno asserted that he was merely stating facts about their perceived arrogance and condescending attitude towards other candidates.

When asked about Robredo's reluctance to fight, Moreno cited an instance where he claimed the Vice President's camp lied about needing a permit for an event in Manila, which he said was not required.

Robredo, celebrating her birthday on April 23, has maintained her stance against engaging in public spats with Moreno.
