ICTSI Elite Junior PGT Series relaunches with 15 legs nationwide

The Junior Philippine Golf Tour (JPGT) relaunched as the ICTSI Elite Junior PGT Series with an expanded 15 legs nationwide for its 2025 season.

The tour, now in its third edition and organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc., will feature an inaugural North vs South Elite Junior Finals at The Country Club from September 30 to October 2.

This enhanced circuit, recognized by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), aims to discover, train, and develop young Filipino golfers for national and international competitions.

A structured age-group system divides players into 7-10, 11-14, and 15-18 year old divisions.

Players must compete in either the Luzon or Visayas-Mindanao series based on residence or birthplace.

The circuit kicks off with the North Series on April 8-10 at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite.

Notable participants in the boys' 15-18 bracket include Junior World qualifiers Shinichi Suzuki and Charles Serdenia, facing competition from Jose Carlos Taruc, Kristoffer Nadales, Rafael Mañaol, and Alonso Espartero.

In the girls' 15-18 division, Precious Zaragosa and Tiffany Bernardino are top contenders, challenged by Rafa Anciano, Jada Santiago, and Levonne Talion.

The 11-14 division is also competitive, with the San Diego-bound Sarines twins, Lisa and Mona, leading the girls' group, which also includes Arielle Espartero, Eliana Dumalaog, Kendra Garingalao, Kelsey Bernardino, and Helena Pablo.
