HPG seizes 7 unregistered luxury vehicles in Bulacan

The Highway Patrol Group (HPG) seized seven unregistered luxury vehicles in Marilao, Bulacan, on November 17.

The cars, which included a Ferrari, two Nissan GTRs, a Toyota Supra, a Toyota FJ Cruiser, a Toyota Land Cruiser, and a BMW, were found at a gas station along the North Luzon Expressway.

Authorities discovered the vehicles were using improvised plates or had no plates at all.

The operation, a joint effort between the HPG and the Land Transportation Office (LTO), was prompted by a concerned citizen's report.

The LTO has taken custody of the vehicles for further record verification.

Investigators are also examining if these luxury cars are connected to the Discaya family, who are reportedly involved in tax and customs violations.
