BOC auctions 3 of 7 luxury vehicles for P38.2M

Seven luxury vehicles owned by contractor couple Curlee and Sarah Discaya were initially auctioned by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Out of the seven vehicles, only three were sold for a total of P38.2 million, falling short of the BOC's P103 million expectation.

A Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and a G500 were purchased by Simplex Industrial Corporation for P15.6 million and P15.5 million respectively, while a Lincoln Navigator was sold to Lesentrell Jewelries for P7.1 million.

The Discaya couple, who are under investigation for anomalous flood control projects, voluntarily forfeited seven of the 13 luxury cars seized from them.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon stated that the auction signifies the beginning of restitution of public wealth.

The BOC plans to hold a second auction possibly by early December for the remaining four vehicles.

The BOC may adjust the floor prices and will announce the date of the next auction within five days.
