House sec-gen: Fake '8' plate used in viral road rage incident

House Secretary General Reginald Velasco stated that the '8' plate on a vehicle involved in a viral road rage incident appears to be fake and lacks the security features of official House protocol plates.

He mentioned that the plate could be a copy of the special protocol plates, which are assigned to current members of the House of Representatives.

The House of Representatives strongly condemns the misuse of such plates and the individual's actions.

Velasco expressed confidence that law enforcement agencies can easily identify and confiscate fake plates.

He called on the appropriate authorities to investigate the incident, punish the individual involved, and impose stricter regulations on the use of protocol plates.

The incident, which involved a driver of a Mitsubishi Montero with the '8' plate confronting another driver and making threats, has been captured in a viral video.
