Lawyer: Senators should present evidence against Alice Guo

He cited allegations of immigration officers aiding Guo's escape and mentioned bank transactions as examples of weak evidence used to pressure her.

David asserted that Guo would present her side once she faces the court, questioning the purpose of the hearing if senators did not intend to believe her testimony.

He compared the Senate investigation to 'medieval times' where individuals were pressured into confessions.

Guo is currently facing human trafficking and money laundering charges, with a quo warranto petition and a petition to cancel her birth certificate also filed against her.
