Green Archers coach Robinson calls for optimism despite Amos' injury and team's 2-3 record

Despite an unfamiliar 2-3 record in UAAP Season 88, Green Archers head coach Topex Robinson is urging his team to remain optimistic following a tough loss to the National University Bulldogs.

The team's challenges were compounded by an apparent right knee injury sustained by player Mason Amos during the game against NU.

Amos reported hearing a 'pop' in his knee after a collision with NU's Gelo Santillan and was seen leaving the court in a wheelchair.

Coach Robinson acknowledged the incident as an unfortunate but unintentional part of the game, expressing hope for the best outcome for Amos.

Robinson also addressed the team's early-season struggles, including their concerning 58.2% free throw shooting percentage, which was evident in their recent four-point defeat.

He emphasized the importance of keeping heads high as they navigate these early difficulties in the season.
