Globe Business partners with Blackpanda for cyber incident response

Globe Business has partnered with Blackpanda to provide Philippine companies with more accessible and affordable cyber incident response services.

The collaboration aims to offer services such as incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability and dark web scanning, and cyber insurance.

Globe Business Head KD Dizon highlighted that the partnership addresses the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyber threats, especially with the amplification by AI.

This initiative will leverage Globe's ICT ecosystem to offer organizations a practical and affordable way to enhance their security, preparedness, and customer trust.

Cyber threats in the ASEAN region are becoming more dangerous and costly, with data breaches averaging $3.23 million in 2024, particularly affecting the financial sector.

Ransomware and phishing incidents have increased by 29 percent across the region, indicating a rise in attack sophistication.

In the Philippines, 85 percent of companies experienced AI-driven intrusions last year, and 84 percent suffered supply chain breaches, with a significant portion going undetected.
