Giant Risers edge Fuel Masters 127-119 to stay in playoff hunt

Titan Ultra, now named the Giant Risers, secured a crucial 127-119 victory over the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup, keeping their semifinals hopes alive.

Calvin Abueva led the team with a double-double of 35 points and 17 rebounds, while Joshua Munzon and Aris Dionisio each contributed 21 points.

Fran Yu added 14 points and 10 assists, and Jerrick Balanza scored 17 points for Titan Ultra.

Despite trailing for most of the game, Titan Ultra outscored Phoenix in the final period to secure the victory.

The win brought Titan Ultra's record to 4-6, and they will face Barangay Ginebra in a virtual playoff match if Rain or Shine defeats Ginebra.

Phoenix, already eliminated from the semifinals, dropped to a 3-8 record.
