Gatchalian brothers back Kiko Pangilinan's Senate bid

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian has endorsed former Senator Kiko Pangilinan's senatorial bid for the 2025 elections, citing the need for more legal expertise in the Senate.

Gatchalian highlighted that Pangilinan, as a lawyer, can significantly contribute to law-making for the country.

Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian also voiced his support for Pangilinan's candidacy.

The Gatchalian brothers acknowledged Pangilinan's role as the principal author of the Sagip Saka Act.

They mentioned that the Valenzuela local government uses the Sagip Saka Act to procure rice from Isabela farmers for its social programs and annual gift-giving for senior citizens.

Mayor Wes Gatchalian stated that the law allows the city to provide a better rice subsidy, demonstrating its significant benefit to local governments.
