Four confirmed dead, 15 pending verification due to typhoons and SW monsoon

Nineteen individuals have been reported dead due to the combined effects of tropical cyclones Mirasol, Nando, Opong, and the Southwest Monsoon, with four confirmed deaths and 15 still pending verification.

Additionally, 18 individuals were reported injured, 14 of whom have been confirmed, and 14 others remain missing, all of whom are currently undergoing validation.

The weather disturbances have affected a total of 2,026,246 individuals across 15 regions, leading to the displacement of 351,840 people, most of whom are staying in evacuation centers.

Preemptive evacuations were conducted for 407,914 individuals in several regions.

Damage assessments show that 243 road sections and 46 bridges were affected, with 30 road sections in Region 1 still impassable.

Power outages were reported in 143 cities and municipalities, though power has been restored in 105 of these areas.

The previous report indicated 13 deaths, 17 injured, and 2 missing, with significant impacts on 224,549 families and millions in agricultural and infrastructural damage.
