Filipina gymnast Finnegan reflects on Paris Olympics experience

Filipina gymnast Aleah Finnegan, one of the first three female gymnasts from the Philippines to debut at the Olympics, expressed gratitude for her experience representing the country in the 2024 Paris Games.

The 21-year-old Finnegan finished at No. 47 in the women's artistic gymnastics event.

She considered her Olympic stint the highlight of an already successful year, which included winning the US NCAA Championship with her LSU team.

Finnegan found the competition exciting and was deeply moved by the sight of Filipino flags in the arena.

Despite her pride in competing, Finnegan admitted to a sense of disappointment as a competitor when her efforts did not yield the desired results.

She shared these sentiments while reflecting on her achievements and the support she received, including being a muse for the Meralco Bolts in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup opening.
