Rescued Pinoy seafarer from capsized cattle ship already lost hope, partner says
Jay-Nel Rosales, a Filipino crew member of the capsized cattle ship Gulf Livestock 1, has been rescued off the coast of Japan.
Rosales, who had lost hope of being found, is the second Filipino survivor after Captain Sareno Edvarodo was rescued.

The rescue operation was temporarily halted due to Typhoon Kristine but is expected to resume.
The DFA confirmed the rescued Filipino crewman was conscious and able to walk.
