Filipino expats in Singapore appeal to PBBM for improved PH quality of life

Filipinos based in Singapore have appealed to President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to improve their quality of life and alleviate their hardships when they visit the Philippines.

The appeal comes ahead of Marcos' state visit to Singapore, which is home to approximately 200,000 Filipinos.

During his state visit, President Marcos expressed his gratitude to the Singaporean government and its people for hosting the Filipino community.

Marcos stated that Filipinos in Singapore are generally happy and content, viewing the country as a second home.

He acknowledged that Singapore's developed economy offers opportunities for Filipinos seeking to improve their lives and contribute to the Philippines.

One Filipino, Narcisa Lim, who has lived in Singapore for 35 years, expressed happiness about the President's visit and her support for him.
