A new health facility, the Filinvest Tent 'We Heal As One' Center, has been completed in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, through a collaboration between the government and private sectors to boost the country's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This facility, which is the ninth 'We Heal As One' Center, has a capacity of 108 beds and will be managed by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The transformation of the Filinvest Tent into a makeshift hospital was made possible by the donation of construction materials by Filinvest Development Corporation, manpower from EEI Corporation, and hospital beds from the Villar Group of Companies.
The Filinvest Tent was chosen for its accessibility to major southern thoroughfares, allowing for easy access from Makati via SLEX/Skyway.
Similar to other mega quarantine facilities, the Filinvest Tent 'We Heal as One Center' will be fully air-conditioned and equipped with necessary amenities.
Other completed mega quarantine facilities include those at PICC-Forum, World Trade Center, Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, ASEAN Convention Center in Clark, Pampanga, National Government Administrative Center in New Clark City, Philippine Sports Complex (ULTRA) in Pasig City, and Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
