Padrigao transfers to UST for fresh start

Forthsky Padrigao, a former Ateneo guard, is transferring to the University of Santo Tomas (UST) to start fresh in his basketball career and personal life.

UST Athletic Director Fr. Rodel Cansancio confirmed Padrigao's transfer, stating that the player approached the school seeking a second chance.

Padrigao has already enrolled in UST's Institute of Physical Education and Athletics and joined practices with the Growling Tigers.

Beyond basketball, Padrigao has engaged in guidance counseling and volunteered for outreach programs as a way to demonstrate his remorse and learning from past controversies.

UST, as a Catholic institution, views Padrigao's desire for reformation positively, offering him support and guidance.
