Eya Laure named PVL Press Corps Player of the Week again

Eya Laure of Chery Tiggo has been named the PVL Press Corps Player of the Week for the second consecutive time, recognizing her outstanding performance from April 16 to 20.

Laure led the Crossovers to crucial victories against PLDT and Akari Chargers, contributing significantly to their current standing of 8-2 in the PVL All-Filipino Conference elimination round.

She scored 12 points against PLDT with nine attacks and three blocks, and followed it with 14 points against Akari, including nine attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

With these wins, Chery Tiggo is now on the cusp of advancing to the semifinals, sharing the lead with Petro Gazz, Creamline, and Choco Mucho.

However, Chery Tiggo still needs one more win to secure a semifinal spot, as PLDT is closely trailing with a 7-3 record.

Laure expressed gratitude for the trust and guidance of coach Kungfu Reyes, attributing her continued confidence and performance to his support.

Chery Tiggo's next game is against Galeries Tower on Thursday.
