Ex-Rep Zaldy Co accuses PBBM of P100B budget insertions

Former Ako Bicol party-list Representative Zaldy Co accused President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of orchestrating P100 billion in budget insertions for the 2025 national budget.

Co stated that Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman informed him of the President's directive after a meeting.

He confirmed these instructions with Presidential Legislative Liaison Office Undersecretary Adrian Bersamin, who allegedly corroborated the President's order.

Co then informed then-Speaker Martin Romualdez, who reportedly agreed to implement the President's wishes.

Co expressed surprise that President Marcos Jr. allegedly claimed not to recognize the budget insertions, as they were supposedly the President's own idea.
