Ako Bicol rep claims Marcos received P25B kickbacks from 2025 budget insertions

Resigned Ako Bicol Rep. Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co claimed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. received P25 billion in kickbacks from P100 billion in insertions to the 2025 national budget.

Co alleged that Marcos personally receives 25 percent as "SOP" or standard operating procedure from the budget insertions, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways.

In a video, Co retracted his earlier denial of his ex-aide Orly Guteza's testimony about delivering cash kickbacks to Malacañang and former Speaker Martin Romualdez's residence.

Guteza also reportedly transported luggage filled with cash to Malacañang.

Malacañang had previously denied the accusation and asked Co to return to the country and make the allegation under oath.
