Student-athletes feted at CPC Awards Night

The Collegiate Press Corps (CPC) Awards Night honored top student-athletes from the NCAA and UAAP on Monday at Discovery Suites.

Mapua University's Clint Escamis was named CPC Men's Basketball Player of the Year and led the CPC Men's Basketball Mythical Team.

The CPC Men's Mythical Team also included Allen Liwag (CSB), Mike Philips and Kevin Quiambao (La Salle), and JD Cagulangan (UP).

Ateneo de Manila University's Kacey Dela Rosa was recognized as the CPC Women's Basketball Player of the Year.

The CPC Women's Basketball Mythical Team consisted of Dela Rosa, Cielo Pagdulagan (NU), Kent Pastrana (UST), Louna Ozar (UP), and Elaine Etang (Adamson).

National University's Bella Belen received the UAAP Women's Volleyball Player of the Year award.

Leo Aringo, Jr. (NU), Carl Berdal (Arellano), and Zam Nolasco (Benilde) were also recognized as Player of the Year awardees for UAAP and NCAA Volleyball.
